Running For Our Lives....
Yesterday two men in Georgia were arrested for the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. From the video posted, it appears that the two men had followed Ahmaud as he ran through a suburban neighborhood in Brunswick, Georgia. From the accounts of the accused, they believed Ahmaud looked suspicious and were concerned with his being involved with a string of recent robberies in their neighborhood. So. Much. FaceTime.
Throughout this entire quarantine I've been journaling. Writing my thoughts and feelings has always been a source of comfort for me, and during this unusual time writing has been my escape (and often my free therapy). After almost 48 days in quarantine it hit me: I have a blog. I don't have to share my thoughts privately. I have an audience--albeit of about one. So. Here we are. This quarantine has been one of the most interesting times in my life, as I'm sure it has been
