So. Much. FaceTime.

Throughout this entire quarantine I've been journaling. Writing my thoughts and feelings has always been a source of comfort for me, and during this unusual time writing has been my escape (and often my free therapy). After almost 48 days in quarantine it hit me: I have a blog. I don't have to share my thoughts privately. I have an audience--albeit of about one.

So. Here we are. This quarantine has been one of the most interesting times in my life, as I'm sure it has been in yours. Never before has my family spent this much time together. I mean, lets face it: after a week together on family vacation we all need a bit of a vacation from our vacation of togetherness. Multiply that feeling by a million, and you get all of this quarantine emotion. I'm blessed in the fact that I actually do like the people I live with. My kids are dope as hell, and the husband keeps us entertained. But too much of anything can be too much. We are all getting to that stage where we just need some alone time, but that's be expected. At any rate, I just wanted to drop in and remind my writing fingers that I'm still here, my blog still works, and I can still string along sentences that make sense. Sometimes. I plan to try to begin to move from journaling in my journal and sharing more on here. And then one day I'll go live. Maybe.
